Roz of Roz Jewellery & Design
I was born in Burma and
lived in India until I was 14, surrounded by vibrant colours and
women who all wore jewellery every day...even the poorest. I think
this must be the origin of my interest in jewellery, which came to
a head, rather late in my life, while visiting Africa. I hope that
my work will encourage women to wear jewellery on an everyday basis
and not just on "special occasions"; it does so much for the
morale! I am married, with four grown children and live with my
husband in the country. I have worked as a nurse, an editor, in the
Courts and with Young Offenders. My first and lasting love is
poetry, and many of my pieces originated from a line of verse. I
never make the same piece twice, but occasionally the differences
are fairly minor!
